Things to think about...

Oh Meagan? I saw Aaron on TV they did a nice story on the concert... I do wish I could be there, but read below...

92 Days...92 days until Tom and I drive all of my belongings, with the exception of my babies and thier stuff, to Arizona.

I AM SO FREAKED ABOUT IT ALL!!!!

Figaros has a dessert pizza, I got an apple one, it was actually not bad, not bad at all. While the Middle school is still not on my happy list, my CT (We will call her Moesha) is not that far higher...yet the students at the high school are great, I am having a fabulous time with the musical and i am very sad I will not be able to be in the show. So Moesha, had me do the programs and organize the slide show for the Dinner theatre concerts this weekend. The theme is Andrew Lloyd Webber and they are doing a fairly good job for a 40 voice concert choir with only 3 guys and 1 girl who is convinced she is a guy. I did an amazing job on these, and even did all the material that the readers will read before each medley. I even wrote 'HER' director's notes. then I spent 6 hours today printing the full color programs on her laser printer at the school while she was running errands and her son....her son is SO annoying. He is 13 and a freshman in HS he is emotionally not ready, (he skipped 2 grades). He has already been suspended and stuff this year and is rude and I played a deliciuous chord for him on the keyboard that i am using in the bell piece I am writing for Tom and Sonya's Wedding, he said it sounded like Poop. I wanted to kill him. It was a 1st inversion Ab major, with an added 4th. And with the overtones that the pipe organ has it is going to be really awesome. Anyhow, so I did that for her, and she did appreciate that...but sometimes it just felt empty.

Mom had to go to the hospital for tests and stay overnight for observation since she had some odd chest pains. I am praying for her.

I heard back fom CTD and I quote..."So, yes we would be happy to host a farewell David E. Weck party here at CTD. " So I just need to pick a daye, adn I want to sing...Because I knew you" and a few other songs that will just make people cry. Tanya, if you go, we will need to sing a Duet, and Meagan, if you wanted to play for me, that would of course be fabbo, but I can always make a CD and you could actually....watch a show! *gasp*.

I am so going to miss everyone...a lot. I thought about it today...while I really have nothing keeping me here, it is my life that will be changed.

Speaking of all that, we are having a CT celebration at SOU to celebrate and thank all the teachers who allowed us into the classrooms. They asked me to sing something. I thought about singing "Becasue I knew you" from Wicked. Meagan or Tanya, either of you have the music? I don't know what I would sing otherwise...I could write something warm and tender, and extremely touching. Any ideas, let me know.

Well, lookie there, I started this post an hour ago and have been randomly typing while watching TV and playing my online games. Where I just happened to get promoted again, to full commander and was given a ship.

I guess I have a lot to think about, and I got an email from a random perosn in the northern part of scotland who loved my music on Sibelius.com and emailed me asking if I had written anything for 2 octaves. I emailed her back saying I would write somethign for her. That was really nice of her to write me.

random music lyric...
o/~ Oh I start to shiver, can't control the quivering inside...o/~ - Groovy Kind of Love.

    Hi David!

Of course I'd love to play at your goodbye party!!!! But you should have other people sing, not just you, so that you can relax and enjoy.

When you "Because I Knew You" are you referring to the song "For Good" from Wicked? I'm assuming you are. That is indeed a good song. In fact, Tanya and I (yes, ME) sang it for a special CTD event several months ago. It was sweet and I cried and James cried and blah blah blah....

Anyway, let me know the date and I'll be there!
